AGREEMENTS REACHED
- april 1997-Several groups from Central and North America discuss their experiences in the monitoring of the firms under sub-contract in Central America (see Forum on independent monitoring)
- 1997 - ILO signs an agreement with UNICEFand the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce against the use of Child Labour in the manufacture of footballs (see "Partners' Agreement" )
- november 1996 - Critical analysis of the agreement reached in Bangladesh between the textile manufacturers and ILO for the elimination of Child Labour (see "Travail des enfants au Bangladesh" )
- september 1996 - The International Trade-union signs an agreement with FIFA for its adoption of a Code of Conduct (see document )
- 1996 - The Textile Manufacturers' Association in Bangladesh signs an agreement with UNICEF e ILO for the elimination of Child Labour (see document )
- august 1995 - In july 1995, an agreement was reached between the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers' Association, UNICEF and ILO to eliminate Child Labour from the Garment Industry (see Historic breakthrough for Bangladesh Kids endangered by industry inaction)
- december 1995 - Victory in El Salvador of the Mandarin workers. On 15th december GAP accepts the creation of an independant Monitoring Commission (see "Gap agrees to Independent Monitoring - setting new standards for the entire industry")
