1. Maximum Working Hours
48 hours/week

2. Minimum Wage
(Monthly wage in US$) Unskilled workers: 17.45; Semi-skilled: 18.32; Skilled: 20.24; High-skilled: 21.81

3. Night Work for Women Workers
It is prohibited to work between 6pm to 6am in general. However, women can work at night in some sectors, e.g. hotel, tourist industry, nursing and airline company, etc

4. Overtime Work for Women Workers
Not more than 20 hours/week

5. Menstruation Leave - Wheather need special application

6. Maternity Protection:

7. Comments on the Overall Implementation of the Labor Laws
The implementation is not satisfactory. The situation varies in different factories. Wherever the union is strong, workers can be more protected under the labour law. If the union is weak, there are more violations of labour law by the management. Most of the employers are very traditional. They treat workers as slaves. The positive aspect is that the tradition of imposition is slowly being broken down by the trade unions
