There is legal prohibition on night work for women workers according to Factories' Act, but with exceptional provision with government permission

     6.1. Length of leave
     12 weeks in total, of which not more than 6 weeks shall precede the date of her expected date of delivery

     6.2. Payment during leave
     Full pay (according to average daily wages stipulated by Minimum Wage Age or 10 rupees, whichever is higher)

     6.3. Who pay for it
     ?

     6.4. Any laws prohibiting employers from dismissing the pregnant women workers
     Yes for under the reason of pregnancy; and No for under other excuses, but she is still entitled all the maternity benefits

     6.5. Any laws allowing women workers who are more than six months' pregnancy shift to lighter work

     6.6 Any other provisions
     There is medical bonus for those pregnant women workers

7. Comments on the Overall Implementation of the Labor Laws
Almost all labour laws relating to women workers remain only on paper and not implemented.
