About US$ 6.35/day. (The minimum wage varies in different region of the country)

3. Night Work for Women Workers
No woman, regardless of age, shall be employed or permitted or suffered to work, with or without compensation. In any industrial sector, from 10pm to 6am and in any commercial or non-industrial sector, except agricultural, from midnight to 6am, women workers are not supposed to work. However, ther are many exemptions for the law

6. Maternity Protection:

     60 days for normal delivery and 75 days for cesarean delivery

7. Comments on the Overall Implementation of the Labor Laws
- The rights of women workers, in particular, are not given much attention and importance. In reality, the provisions of the labour code pertaining to women are not enforced or implemented. These provisions merely serve as decorations
- Unless the unions are militant and negotiate with the employers under CBA (collective bargaining agreement), women workers are always discriminated and exploited against labour law
